Jose Maldonado and family

The Maldonado family lives in a small mountain village in Pinsaqui, Ecuador. Jose Maldonado provides for his family through his beautiful tapestry work.  His wife, Josefina, produces women's hats. Each tapestry is made on a traditional loom. They are challenged by a poor economy. While their tapestries are incredible masterpieces, they can only profit very little in a competitive market.  Into helps expand their market.
