MARKET EXPANSION: INTO offers artisans with whom we work access into the U.S. Market. We acquire retails outlets for their beautifully crafted items. Due to their underprivileged situations our goal is to give our partner artisans the opportunity to establish sustainable living through their skilled work, therefore creating their own niche in the market. This offers both women and men a better opportunity to overcome their disadvantaged and often exploitative circumstances.
FINANCIAL EDUCATION: INTO provides our partner artisans the opportunity to utilize a savings account for emergency funds which is managed in the U.S. Buy educating artisans about cost analysis and fair wages, we give them tools to dictate business for themselves in collaboration with INTO. After being presented with the importance of savings it is an artisan’s choice to take part in this program.
EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING: INTO closes the gap by sharing the stories of the artisans with whom we work. We are available for colleges/universities, churches and other groups interested in pursuing international service projects and fair trade. Our programming adapts to the audience, drawing from research and experience allowing audiences to understand economic justice and the role fair trade plays in economic development.
